    • Aaaah!  Now that IS scary!  Very appropriate to the times.  We liked the use of the silhouette to sperate the panels.  Though the idea really needed another page to express itself properly.

    • William has the basis of a good cartoon here, but it's flawed by the pinched type, the wordiness, and a lack of backgrounds. It feels like to me that there's a rushed quality to the illo. For instance, I felt that SnowBuni's foot should have shown beneath SnuggleBuni's arm in the first panel.  Using the silhouette of SnuggleBuni as a part of the panel border is a great idea. I could see it being taken even farther where the broken border isn't even used. Too, I enjoyed the extreme expressions on SnowBuni and on the silhouette.

    • THIS one is interesting. Comic-wise there's a lot of dialogue; and I think it'd have been better served with more panels.... maybe even a 2 page spread. Currently it feels kinda cluttered. (You could sneak in some more pics and expression in a more stretched out format.) That being said; it's one of the few (if not ONLY) times I've seen the SnowBuni continuity made topical. Not only that; but it hints at things that logically WOULD be happening, but have never been detailed in any story. (How much influence on the economy WOULD the Sylvalagi have? And would the potential for a serious meltdown inspire them to reconstruct SnuggleBuni as a way to mitigate the damage? Would they modifiy her, or does she already posess advanced organizational abilities?) So while it's a bit of a dud as a gag strip, I think there's potential for a much longer story there.
    • ....and.... y'know.... a good way to reintroduce SnuggleBuni; who's my fave of the cast.
