- It was an extremely near thing deciding between first and second choice. The shear beauty of Lightfoot’s piece nearly knocked Twilight Invasion out of our first choice, and made us wish there could be two first places. As always, Lightfoot’s coloring work is wonderful. This picture could be used as a study for anyone wanting to learn to do coloring for comic work.

- Lightfoot has certainly included a lot of characters in his illo! I particularly like the poses of Snowbuni and Raven in the main panel. Oddly, the light appears to be coming from their left in this panel, whereas the light direction appears reversed in the lead-in panel, where the other Titans are facing them. Also, Raven's hood goes from up in the first panel to down in the main one. None of these objections are very telling, though. I'm just charmed that the Teen Titans aren't too old to go out trick-or-treating, and doubly-so by Starfire evidently saying 'Boo!' all the time.

- Hee heee..... Funny how the "real" Starfire is the TV one, whereas the "costumed" one is the comic design. (And they're BOTH chocolate fiends!) It's funny, but it stretched the "horror" theme a bit. Although featuring Raven gives you a "technical" pass.
- I think overall this one has the best layout. The ballons actually lead the eye along both the picture AND the scenario. The designs are nice, and appear to have mass; something a lot of more cartoony/stylized designs don't always achieve. The colour is subdued, except for the two characters who're subject of the gag.
